Communication via different systems, like e-mail, post its, whiteboards or Excel spreadsheets. In short: not central and not secured. Often it is difficult or impossible to trace back what has been decided and agreed upon. With the digital logbook in ProMISe this belongs to the past.
Centralized and secured
By digitally centralizing communication it becomes secured and nothing gets lost or forgotten anymore. The logbook has its own search engine, so all notes can be found quickly and easily.
To have a proper shift change it is important to register all events and actions during the shifts. Important notes or instructions can be left for the next shift or for a different departement. This creates a safer work environment.
Finally, multiple action lists can be linked to keywords in the logbook. Tasks can be assigned immediately and executed. Everyone can see who takes care of which actions. This gives great overview and stimulates social interaction between colleagues.
